    38 min drive. Highway 28 south of 7. Racetrack, slots, entertainment.

  • Kawartha Highlands Signature Park

    18 min drive. Highway 36 north of Buckhorn towards Bobcaygeon. Largest park in southern Ontario after Algonquin Provincial Park. Tubing is a popular activity, however, you now need to bring your own tube.

  • Kawartha Lakes

  • Kawartha Settlers' Village

    34 min drive. Just north of Bobcaygeon. Experience what life was like for pioneers in the Kawarthas as you stroll leisurely through the Village and discover artifacts from 1830 – 1935.

  • Peterborough Axe Club

    35 min drive. Peterborough. Accept walk-ins. Have leagues, and take groups for axe throwing. Also has darts.

  • Peterborough Kartway

    46 min drive. Just east of Peterborough. Outdoor go-cart track.

  • Peterborough Lift Lock

    37 min drive. One of only two hydraulic lift locks on the Waterway, Lock 21 is the highest hydraulic lift lock in the world. Opened on July 9, 1904, it leaves a visible and lasting impact on Peterborough's landscape.

  • Petroglyphs Provincial Park

    49 min drive. North of Stonyridge - Upper Stony Lake. Camping, hiking, indigenous rock carvings (petroglyphs), visitor centre, McGinnis Lake

  • Riverview Park & Zoo (Peterborough Zoo)

    Approx 30 min. drive. The park and zoo has over 55 acres of scenery on the Otonbee River, and more than 150 animals and over 40 species.

  • Sandy Beach

    10 min drive. Hwy 37 on the way to Buckhorn. Public access, shallow and sandy beach on Sandy Lake open from 7am to 10pm.

  • Warsaw Caves Conservation Area

    45 mins from park. Hiking trails, canoeing, caving, fishing. Be sure to check their website for hours and closures. Bring flashlight if caving.

  • Whetung Ojibwa Centre

    29 min drive. Curve Lake First Nation Indian Reserve. Offers a collection of Native crafts as well as Fine Art, Jewelry, Moccasins, Leather Work, Sculptures from Curve Lake First Nation and from across Canada.
